Sapphire Injectors for ICP and ICP-MS
Our sapphire injectors for ICP and ICP-MS are made from single-crystal sapphire tubes fitted into a PVDF
(fluoropolymer) support. Sapphire injectors are ideal for the analysis of HF-containing samples, high-purity chemicals, and organic solvents. Adsorption, memory effects, and contamination problems found with molded alumina tubes are eliminated. The demountable injector is fixed into the ICP torch using
high-durometer o-rings which allow the sapphire injector to be removed easily for cleaning without removing the entire torch. These products achieve long lifetime due to the strength and chemical resistance of sapphire.
