A Message from the CEO, January 2019

January 30, 2019 by

Over the last several years, as President and CEO, it has been a true pleasure to actively engage with CPI coworkers, customers, vendors and other CPI stakeholders. The primary focus of my engagement with CPI was to help build a formidable team that could take the company to new heights. Having completed this objective, I’m proud to say that CPI is positioned for tremendous success under the leadership of its new President, Tommy Mitchell, who is neither new to CPI nor new to the industry.

Tommy’s background as an Analytical Chemist, combined with his business management experience and three-year employment history with CPI provides the knowledge, skills and ability to effectively lead its Team. He is well-respected by all and is prepared to lead CPI into the future. I’ve not gone far and continue to support CPI as an Executive Advisor. Should you have any questions or feedback for me, please feel free to contact me at ViceR@CPIInternational.com.

From Tommy Mitchell...

I am honored to fill the role of CPI International’s President and to support a Team I’ve grown close with over the last several years. We are grateful to Ryan for his leadership and vision. It is my intention to carry on CPI’s Vision of improving our collective quality of life by supporting important laboratory work throughout the world. I’ve been in our industry for twelve years, beginning as an analytical chemist. I have operated in the sales function, in operations and management and am confident as I take this next step in my career in an industry I know well.

As a New Year begins, we continue to be grateful for the loyalty of our Customers and the opportunities their business provides. To show our appreciation, we have committed to further improve your CPI experience through continued focus on quality, further improved lead time through expanded inventory levels, and a continued focus on Customer satisfaction.

We will also continue to give back to our community by supporting the charities and causes that are important to our Team. To see more about what we’re up to, visit our Community Corner page, where we’re currently highlighting former CPI employee Paige Kinzler and her husband Tyler, who lost their home in the tragic wildfires that consumed the Chico area last year.

In closing, I’d appreciate you forwarding along any feedback you feel may be valuable to our mantra of continuous improvement. I can be reached directly at MitchellR@CPIInternational.com. Your satisfaction is our priority, and our entire staff shares an enthusiasm for serving you.

Here’s to a healthy and prosperous 2019!

Tommy R. Mitchell
