Description
A Teflon version of Burgener's most versatile nebulizer for both ICP-OES and ICP-MS systems, meant for more acidic solutions. Works for any type of sample and can handle high levels of particulates in samples.
The Burgener® Teflon Mira Mist nebulizer operate from 0.2 ml/min to 2.5 ml/min. It produces an excellent mist and it can handle high level of particulates in sample. It fits regular cyclonic spray chambers as a direct replacement for glass concentric nebulizers and operates on standard pressures of 50 PSI. The Teflon Mira Mist can be used for any liquid.
Salting is very rare but can occur over long periods of time, especially with high Sodium levels in the solution. Such salting can be cleared easily with a dip in 5 - 10% HF. (Caution: Be careful when handling HF. It soaks into the skin before you feel it burning, and in low concentrations it looks like water.)
