Burgener's most versatile nebulizer for both ICP-OES and ICP-MS systems works for most samples and can handle high levels of particulates in samples.

The Burgener® PEEK Mira Mist nebulizer can operate from 0.2 ml/min to 2.5 ml/min. It produces an excellent mist and it can handle high level of particulates in sample. It fits regular cyclonic spray chambers as a direct replacement for glass concentric nebulizers and operates on standard pressures of 50 PSI for 1 L/min. The PEEK Mira Mist works for most samples, but not concentrated acids, and not some organic solvents. Still has Teflon capillaries for the samples and for the gas.

Salting is very rare but can occur over long periods of time, especially with high Sodium levels in the solution. Such salting can be cleared easily with a dip in 5 - 10% HF. (Caution: Be careful when handling HF. It soaks into the skin before you feel it burning, and in low concentrations it looks like water.)
