Description
Hydrophobic PTFE membrane filters which are non-sterile. 0.80 micron and 25mm diameter. Sold as a box of 100.
These PTFE membranes include a polypropylene scrim backing which helps with handling of the filter. No bonding agents are used. PTFE is a hydrophobic material which is effective in separating both polar and non-polar solvents. Aqueous solutions can pass after pre-wetting with methanol.
