Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF)

Polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) syringe filters exhibit similar stability and hydrophic interations as PTFE. PVDF filters are most suitable for filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, such as protein solutions. They can also be used to filter hydrophobic substances in different organic solvents.
