Cellulose Acetate (CA)

Cellulose acetate (CA) syringe filters are hydrophilic and nitrate-free, making them suitable for groundwater EPA/ASTM methods. CA membranes exhibit very low binding capacity for proteins. They can be used for filtration and clarification of biological fluids and sterilization of media additives and serum. Other suitable applications include sample preparation of aqueous solutions and protein-based HPLC solutions.

Options with a glass microfiber prefilter are available for filtration of tissues culture media.
